I bought this bag 2 days after I bought T.H.E. Pack. I was thinking to myself how amazing the pack was and I was saddenned that I dont really get to use it that much. So I decided to buy this THE messenger bag for EDC. This bag is the shiznit. I LOVE IT. I like the bag for its huge cavernous main compartment. I did not want a bag with a laptop compartment so this fit the bill. if you like the Pack you will love this messenger bag. same build quality. taking from someone whi has had a dozen or so messenget bags. this bag is the best of them all. When the bag finally arrived I was like a kid at Christmas. Soon as I felt the bag I was pleased.the quality is amazing . After inspecting everything & spending like 2 hours personalizing it with all my gear I can without a doubt this messenger bag will last me a lifetime thanks spec-ops truly. I've had this bag for a few months now and I am really pleased with it. I bought it with the intention of using it as a heavy duty book bag as well as a gadget bag as I am full time university student and travel a lot.Value Quality Price
After a couple of months of almost daily use, carrying a ton of books and beeing thrown around in my car it shows no sign of any wear, and the broad padded shoulder strap is perfectly comfortable when carrying heavy stuff.
My only issue was regarding the shipping declarations (international shipping) as the customs brokers were a bit picky (Posted on 5/9/13) - Great, it's large! Review by Andrew

I purchased the black messenger bag in this past winter to carry my computer and other supplies to work. I routinely carry in excess of 35 lbs of gear with this bag daily. I have seen no evidence of material or seam stitch failures as I have had on lesser quality bags. I also have attached a “Soldiers Optimized Buttpack” to this messenger bag using the nylon attachments near the carrying handle using two carabiners which allows for much more space. This has worked out even better than I expected. The black color has a very professional look and is well suited for office use.
