Well, you could try, but, your arm would give out long before this backpack would.Price Value Quality
This is one tough piece of gear.
Turn it inside out, no loose threads.
Ultra strong pack body, pack straps, and webbing are well sewn, single, double and bartack, throughout.
Metal D rings and upper strap buckles ,with the majority of hardware National Molding Duraflex.
Could have done without the velcro on the side pockets, but, that's just me.
I do like the side pouch grommets.
PALS on top flap & sides are really handy, as are the bottom loops.
Get the H.U.M.P. and use this pack with a LC 2 frame or just tote it like you're in the
Old Corps, either way you can't go wrong.
At $89.95 it's a steal. (Posted on 4/14/13) - Can't beat it with a stick. Review by Old Goat

I have had one of these rucks since 2005 and have taken it on many field exercises & camping/hunting trips. It has held up extremely well and is still in great shape.Value Quality Price
I wish I'd had a ruck of this quality when I was on active duty. (Posted on 4/12/13) - OUTSTANDING !!!!! Review by SedgHammer

Talk about BANG for your buck !!!! Outstanding quality and craftsmanship, when I placed the order I was a bit leary on the price and what I'd get. That completely disappeared like a Haji in a Hellfire strike when I opened the box. Keep up the good work. (Posted on 3/9/13)Price Value Quality - Good ruck Review by SpaceManSpiff2K

I'm really happy with this pack. The condura is awesome and the shoulder straps are nice. The buckles are tough, the d-rings are metal as well as the shoulder strap adjusters. The molle straps are really nice and let you customize this pack to fit your needs. I got the H.U.M.P. with this and highly recommend it. Your back rests right on a water pad. It makes for a comfy and cooling setup and I don't have to rip apart my pack to fill my water bladder or awkwardly stuff my bladder back in after I fill it. This is my primary bushcrafting pack and has more than enough room for that purpose. (Posted on 2/23/13)Quality Price Value - Awesome Ruck for the $$ Review by Greg

I got this on sale and it is a fantastic ruck. I'm not really a prepper but having a bag ready to go in an emergency isn't a bad idea and this bag will definitely do the trick.Price Value Quality
The quality of all Spec-Ops products is top notch and this bag is no exception. It is very comfortable once you get it adjusted and will hold plenty of Bug out type emergency essentials.
Fast shipping and order processing from Spec-Ops!!! The boxes they send are as tough as their products, taped on all sides and corners with Spec-Ops branded tape. That is a nice touch and gives you the impression they care about what they are sending you and package it accordingly. (Posted on 2/19/13) - Not bad Review by Kelly

Well worth the sale price...I was surprised at how large this pack truly is. Will definitely fit a lot of stuff! Quality is true to Spec Ops Brand. (Posted on 2/10/13)Price Value Quality - WOW Review by Clayton

I bought this bag at the extremely discounted price of 89 bucks and I couldn't be happier with it. I have a MALICE pack from TT which I'm crazy about, but sometimes it's just too big. That being said, I purchased this medium size bag to use with that frame and strap system when I require a smaller pack. The quality is top notch, materials are high-end, and the modern design of the classic style is outstanding. Great pack spec-ops! At 89 bucks this is a great deal! Multicam looks perfect. If you like the old Alice pack rucks, then you will absolutely love Spec-Ops Recon Ruck Ultra. It fixes all the short comings of the original design at a price point that is killer for a pack of this quality. Ordered two in Multicam and then two more later in Woodland. If you do not pick up these packs, you will be kicking yourself later for letting this deal pass you by. When it comes to hard use quality, there is none better.
