I tried a lot of different slings. The MAMBA was the only one I could as a south paw without major mods. (Posted on 3/27/13)Price Value Quality - Great Product Review by Tori

I had great use of this when in a garrison environment or "behind the wire" and not in armor. It becomes too cumbersome and snag prone in armor, gun turret, or with any extra gear outside your standard uniform. If you are limited to on post ops and you only wear your uniform, then this is probably the sling for you. I have since moved to single point slings and "wolf hook" style setups. This sling is nice for patrol work. Makes carrying your rifle w/ cool guy gear a breeze. Takes a few minutes to set up correctly but once you get it right, it works. Good value for the price. (Posted on 5/4/12)Price Value Quality - Tactically efficient Review by Brantley

I used this sling during my OIF deployment and found it to be far more efficient to the standard issue sling. This sling is highly adjustable and the elasticity near the stock allow for ease and economy of movement. I would not use another tactical sling, period. Used this sling in Iraq along with most of my BN. By far the most popular sling and for good reason. Very versatile and easy to adjust on the go for different firing positions and missions, i.e. lock in for a steady kneeling position, mounted/dismounted movement, etc. Recently bought a new Mamba for the transition to Multi-cam. Liked the thicker shoulder strap on the new Mambas making it more comfortable. Recommend the sling to everyone that asks about it. (Posted on 11/12/11)Price Value Quality
