I purchased the tan version on Kaf in 2011 and have literally worn it almost every day since then...even after I ets'd out of active duty into the Nebraska Guard and working construction. Now I'm getting the coyote brown version with my newly issued Acu's in the Army version of multicam. I wish they made boots that were as dependable as this belt! (Posted on 8/8/2016)

After 10 or 12 years I finally have to replace my belt. Seems the dog decided to take it outside and my belt lost the battle with the mower. Damn dog. If not for that I have no doubt I would have been buried with my belt many years from now. (Posted on 7/13/2016)

I got this belt about a year ago, and it's worked perfectly. I wear it daily, it easily holds all of the junk I put on it, no problems at all.

It's not cheap, but it's worth it. (Posted on 6/19/2016)

picked this up in '06. lived in it for 22 months and 23 days. worked great. 8 years later, it definitely doesn't look new. but it's handled the mileage better than I have.

i'm not likely to buy another one of these. no point, since the first one is still going strong. (Posted on 1/26/2016)

Flat out amazing. My friend's father was army, and after finishing his service and two deployments, gave this belt to my friend. About a year ago, my friend moved to Texas, and gave me this since he no longer wanted it. I love it so much, but the Velcro is wearing away, so I'm forced to buy another, but while the Velcro is going, the thing is still strong enough to pull a truck out of a ditch in the middle of winter if need be. If you need a strong, reliable, comfortable belt, this is it. (Posted on 12/5/2015)

I've worn this belt for the past 8 years and it is still going strong. It would probably last another 8 years but I just had to buy a replacement due to the army's uniform change. The belt is a little pricey but overall it is a great value due to its quality and durability. (Posted on 8/20/2015)

heavy duty riggers belt, and I mean heavy dutyReview by Michael

this belt is extremely well built and very robust. metal buckle and quicklink snap are extremely tough and almost too heavy for an everyday belt. you could hook up hmmwv to this belt and pull it all by yourself on foot. webbing is very thick and good color match to issued belt in army. metal buckle not properly protected from water, can build up minor rust stains with excessive exposure to water. buckle itself has very grippy teeth so webbing won't slide easily. This is an excellent riggers belt. IF YOU NEED TO STRAP YOURSELF IN A HELO THIS IS THE BELT. I would not recommend it as a gun belt. It has little rigidity. I have a slight sizing problem. I wear 38" waist pants and ordered the appropriate size. It fits but I can't cinch it down because of the velcro. If i had it to do over i would buy the smaller size. (Posted on 3/16/2015)

i bought this belt in black a number of years ago and I am quite pleased with it
I am a stagehand and i like to use it to anchor a belay to myself for lights and small speakers down out of the ceiling when i am down rigging ( with other equipment of course not just the belt, although i think its probably strong enough haha)

    great quality and super useful

the only thing that i do not like about it is that it makes your waist sweat more than a leather belt but i suppose that is a characteristic of the materials used and a personal PREFERENCE (Posted on 2/8/2015)

I have worn one of these in various colors everyday since 2009. In the Corps, these are used to show MCMAP proficiency in cammies. I have owned every color they have, and currently wear my black belt daily for my job as an Armed Security Officer for my gun belt to hold my pistol, spare magazine, handcuffs, and radio. This belt is comfortable, secure, stays put all day, and has that famous Spec Ops Brand quality. My favorite use of the belt is for emergency rappelling, however. If a long rope was part of my EDC, I would rappel everyday. Stop deliberating, just buy one already (Posted on 1/1/2015)

Sadly, after thousands of medical, vehicle extrications, and Medevac calls I finally have to retire my belt. After over 8 long years of everyday service, I must take this out of service and put it in to my box of memories. The belt has held up extremely well but, alas the velcro has succumbed to the times. I am looking to get another one, but wush the cobra buckles were available. Thank you for making such an outstanding product!!! (Posted on 12/25/2013)

I was military police for 4 years and this belt did it all. Was a solid one for day to day use and could act as a temporary gun belt if it came down to it. Also managed to lock together 2 2x4s so multiple troops could use them as a temporary bridge. I can't recommend this belt enough. (Posted on 12/16/2013)

1-make it somewhat stiffer so it works better for belt-mounted pouches & holsters.

This is one of the very best belts I have ever owned for use with my ACU Uniform, hunting, camping, fishing, and rappelling gear. I wear it whenever I am not just running around town. I have owned this belt for approx. 4 years and love it. The only problem I have had is the hook and loop on it is starting to wear out, but I have logged a few thousand if not tens of thousands of hours wearing it. So, it really isn't that big of an issue. In other words if you are in the military, a hunter, a fisherman, into mountain climbing or rappelling, or in any job that requires you to work or play in the outdoors or planning for the apocalypse or work as a Police Officer, EMT/Paramedic, or Firefighter or just want something that is well made will stand up to just about anything, BUY THIS BELT!!!! This is the best belt I have ever worn. It's tough, lasted multiple deployments. I was medically retired last year and I still wear this belt almost everyday. The only problem I have is the price. I can appreciate "Made in America", but closing in on $50 for a nylon belt seems a bit steep, even given the quality. That said, my Snap On tools are ridiculous expensive, but I still buy the damn things. Those that have owned this belt know what I'm talking about. You simply would be hard pressed to find one near this quality and I would bet impossible to find a better made product. Semper Fidelis. (Posted on 1/6/2012)

Not a single issue with my belt in 6.5 years of wearing it. Will probably replace it before my next deployment due to simple wear over the years. This thing truly is amazing. works for more than just a belt and really can be used in an emergency. Totally worth it. (Posted on 12/3/2011)

I bought this belt about 3 years a go and i am still using it. hold on tight and keeps my pants and everything else i attach to my pants. I have even used the rigger part of the belt to repel with, hurts a little but worked great. (Posted on 11/17/2011)

Holds up my pants and supports a full-size 1911 with no problems. Probably the last casual belt I'll have to buy. (Posted on 10/18/2011)

Love this belt! I really enjoy all of the features loaded into something as "simple" as a belt. This thing is really heavy duty, and great for carrying your gear. Nice and thick nylon webbing will not roll and make you print when carrying CCW. The velcro to keep the excess belt material from flapping around in your belt loops was an excellent idea. I would've given 5 stars for everything if this was a little cheaper however. $45, to me personally, feels a little steep for a nylon belt. But that being said, I feel like it is still an excellent piece of gear and I would recommend to anyone. I'm in ABU's 5 days a week at least, and this thing just feels like a quality piece. Made in the USA too, can't beat that! (Posted on 10/12/2011)

During team building exercises in Ft. Lewis my issued belt snapped. I replaced it with the Spec-ops tan Riggers Belt. I have used the belt for much more than just a belt, Only light surface rust on the buckle from two deployments of sweating nonstop. Only reason I'm getting a new one is because the correctional institute I work at requires a black one. (Posted on 10/12/2011)

This belt is heavy, and that's not a bad thing. The steel buckle and triangle are indestructable, the webbing is tough, and the hook and loop isn't that cheap stuff that fluffs up after washing it a couple times. You could probably use this belt to pull a car out of a ditch if you had to. Top-notch stuff, and American made, unlike the competitors. This is the riggers belt to get. (Posted on 10/2/2011)

I got this in Kuwait to replace the flimsy standard issue belt of the US Army. It works great and holds firm, even when packing around a M9 on the hip all day. The price seems kind of high, but it is worth it. The only downfall I have is that the buckle rusts and can leave stains on shirts. I contacted SpecOps Brand about it and they shipped me a new belt for free ASAP though (Posted on 7/10/2011)

I was given my Rigger belt by a combat buddy in a stateside trade of the traditional "give a gift worthy of combat." When two operators meet they exchange gifts to aid in eachother's survival. I was a LRRP he was with SSD. I climb towers now building WiFi systems. I was 200 feet up and used my PPE ropes etc. Upon shifting to a different position I was blown from the tower. I was rigged in with a backup Specops Rigger belt and 1" webbing to the tower. The D ring on my belt is why I am able to write this now. Just bought another one and about to head out to Alaska to use it in even more extremes. see tower pics on facebook I will add more when I get bak. I also carry a THE with me on these jobs so I recommend it too!!! (Posted on 4/7/2011)

I've owned this belt for over 5 years now. A couple tours, and a few years of daily wear later, the only thing showing any wear is the tag sewn inside the belt. It also supports wearing a concealed handgun well. I carry a full-size M&P and this belt handles it great. It is about $10 more expensive than competitors, but for how long it's lasted me, that's about a 1/3 of a cent a day. (Posted on 4/6/2011)
