SPEC.-OPS. Brand Adds New Belt Colors To Match Marine Corps Martial Arts Program

Brand today announced that it has added two new colors, Gray and Coyote Brown, for its Better BDU and Rigger’s Belts, making the two popular pants belts available in colors matching all five colored-belt levels in the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program: Tan, Gray, Green, Brown and Black. All Marines are required to achieve a Tan Belt in the Program, and many go onto the higher achievement levels.

The Better BDU Belt is sized to properly fit the belt loops on BDU pants. The proprietary “Flip-Tab” one-piece buckle is easy to adjust, and much quieter than “issue” counterparts. Made of 1.75 inch nylon web, the Better BDU Belt is thick enough to keep its shape under load and available in two waist sizes: Regular, 24-36 inches and Large, 36-46 inches.

The Rigger’s Belt was designed to be the ideal back-up for a tactical harness used during airframe tie-ins, rappelling, roping-off situations, or whenever someone needs an extra measure of security. It is made from super strong 1.75 inch nylon webbing with over 8000 pound tensile strength. A Hypalon® abrasion liner minimizes wear at hardware contact points, and redundant stitching ensures that the belt will hold up in the worst situations, under the worst conditions.
