SPEC.-OPS.® Brand Adds body Armor-Mounted Multi-Position Holster To Its Innovative "Vapor" Holster Line

LAS VEGAS, NV (February 9, 2006) –Spec.-Ops. Brand today introduced the MultiPosition Holster, a body armor mounted version of its innovative “Vapor” Holster, shown  for the first time at the SHOT (Shooting, Hunting, Outdoor Trade) Show here.

The Spec.-Ops. Brand Multi-Position Holster is a lightweight, high-performance tactical  holster that provides a troop with easy access to his weapon when riding in a vehicle. Its  hybrid nylon and Kydex® construction offers the best of both worlds --  a low profile  against the body, and the solid fit and weapon retention of a Kydex liner.

According to company CEO Jeff Wemmer, a body-armor mounted holster was the single  most requested item last year.

The Kydex Click-in internal sleeve, available for most popular handgun models, holds  the weapon securely and in position, and allows unobstructed drawing and re-holstering. The fully customizable triple retention system provides multiple options for securing the  weapon: removable and adjustable thumb break; removable retention strap with quickrelease; and tension adjustment in the Kydex liner.

The Multi-Position Holster is MOLLE and PALS compatible, and mounts to all Spec.Ops. Brand load bearing vests and Interceptor Body Armor. It has GRID-LOK™ webbing  loops on the front panel to attach magazine pouches and other accessories.

The Multi-Position Holster is available in right-hand and left-hand versions for the Beretta  M9/92-96, Glock 17, 22, 31 and 20, 21, Sig Sauer 220 and 226, H&K USP Compact and  1911 Government Model full frame, in Black, Olive, Tan, Coyote Brown and ACU. Kydex inserts are available in Black only.
